Peter & Gretel’s 1970 Mach 1
03/14/10 at 11:41:46

I’ve previously posted pics of my Mach 1 on this forum in other threads, but as this is a register of club member’s cars, I think it is appropriate to post them up again here.

I joined the Club 21-1-10 and my forum name is Pedro.
I bought the car from a retired gent in southern California who looked after it meticulously and drove it sparingly on occasional Sundays and to shows. Even though he assured me of its quality, I still had a professional go check it out before I parted with my money.

My car will be fully registered as I intend driving it as opposed to looking at it.

It’s due in Brisbane last week of March 2010

Well, so much for my prediction that it would be here end of March.
After what seemed like never ending delays, I finally picked her up and got full Qld. registration last Friday 30th April.

I must admit she's better than I thought so I'm very pleased with my purchase. Spent today doing fiddly things like lifting the carpet to check the floors …. needn’t have bothered … they’re sparkling.

So here she is tucked in for the night at Mt Tamborine.
Oh, and 351 NAG was the best I could do at PPQ.
