1970 Boss 302 SCCA A/S (A-Sedan) Mustang VIN 0F02G140402
This car was originally purchased new by Greg Hesler and immediately converted into an SCCA A/S Race Car by Greg and his father-in-law.
Greg lived and worked in the Detroit area and had a connection to FORD Racing through his employment at Dearborn Steel & Tubing (DST) that did prototype work for Ford and Kar Kraft Engineering. Greg was also friends with Warren Tope who raced an ex-Kar-Kraft, Bud Moore prepared SCCA Trans-Am Mustang once driven successfully by factory FORD Team Driver George Follmer.
Car was prepared to FORD competition chassis manual/Stage III specifications by Greg and raced in AS races in the US and FIA International Events in Canada. Documented Period Races from 1970-1972 are as follows:

Sold in 1973 to S. L. Castiglione (never raced). Sold in 1978 to Al Miertz (never raced). Purchased in 1989 by John Vanprooyen and Mike Mulcahy. Restored to period correct/concours standards and Vintage Raced 1989-1991 by John VanProoyen and Mike Mulcahy.
