Hey Nick

Shame about the covers, they would have been a nice novelty. Cry

I'm not sure you'll be happy with a poultry 603 ft-lb of torque and that measly 680 NATURALLY ASPIRATED + hp.  Shocked Shocked

Get them to double check its running on eight cylinders! Cheesy Grin Wink

I can see some fried tyres coming up.

They're big and impressive numbers. No need for a transmission with all that twist she'll take off in top gear.

I feel sorry for the driveline Smiley

My engine builder capped the dyno runs at 6500.
The correct rockers  & stud girdle did`nt arrive in time.
He reckons it will make over 700 hp @ 7000.

NATURALLY ASPIRATED is the thing, no power adders at all. Smiley Smiley

But if a certain silver mustang gets to close ,
my engine builder said it will take a 200 shot of nitrous without flintching,

But you need big balls for that  Grin Grin Grin

I`m getting a new turbo 400 & drive shaft,
But the diff will be fine.

Any forced induction (turbo, supercharger or NOS) is cheating!

Awesome numbers Nick  Smiley Smiley can wait to see & hear this monster running.

Naturally aspirated big hp is very very cool  Smiley

My motor was picked up today by a guy who I`m using to import it.

He pretty much drove from Seattle WA to Upland CA just to get it for me.
Nice guy.......... I`m greatfull.

Looks like at this point ,
The heads & intake have not been ported at all (but paid for)
Which might explain why the dyno figures were down on what I thought they might be.
Still 680 hp & over 600ftlbs is not bad for out of the box heads, intake & carby.

Anyway after 2 1/2 years I`m just really happy it`s on it`s way....

The container is leaving for Aus on Wednesday ...

My import/export guy collected my motor last week.
He sent me some pics of what he recieved.
Rocker covers would have been a nice touch.  Undecided

Hey Nick

I agree, even the oil leaking voyeur covers would have been fine. A little tape over the exhaust ports would be nice too.  Angry
When you consider the $$$ for something like this they should provide a little more attention to detail. However in my experience this is typical in the USA and I might add many places over here too.

I guess your man will take care of it properly. Nice to see it's first ride was in blue oval.......... Wink
