Happy New Year
12/31/08 at 22:00:13

Cheesy As I sit here on NYE, the first lady asleep on the lounge, the solitude that comes with being President of this great club is sinking in. Roll Eyes
I have done all my duties, driven children to parties, checked with the responsible parents that all was OK, and finally as 2008 draws to a close I am able to relax with a BIG SCOTCH  Wink
Have a great 2009 everybody, looking forward to the first run on Sunday.

Two weeks off work and didn't overdo it once, except the night before I have to start work again.

Geez my head hurts......... Cry

Happy New Year all. Hope you had a great festive season.
Welcome to the last year of the Noughties.  Smiley

Oh and welcome to the first sledge of the year. Nice way to get the ball rolling.  Smiley

I would have gone with something along the fire lines myself.

You have no idea how accurate that really is. Rumour has it on Sunday some knowledgable younger males were trying to sound intelligent in front of their "pieces of fluff" by commenting how nice the blue convertible Corvette looked. Cheesy
I believe offence was taken by the "Corvette" owner and rightly so. Wink

Happy New Year everyone.

Nice one guys, and yes, the "corvette" thing was very funny, you should have seen these guys puffing their chests out and expounding the virtues of Corvettes.
Hey Dazza, question......why is it that I dont get a notice that someone has replied to my post ?? Its automatically there and ticked but I dont seem to ever get the notification. I remember this is what lead to the tragic misunderstanding between Glenn and myself...........that and the fact that he was being a ...........oh never mind. Roll Eyes
Do you know why ?????

Yes, no more tragic misunderstandings please. I think I can not take the fury of El Presidente.

So, I recommend a basic computer course for him. Or maybe just a series of post it notes pointing out what a mouse is and which button to push to turn on the computer... Wink

Alternatively we confiscate you PC and send it back to the supplier due to lack of understanding.
Or you can get a teenager to help you out.  Wink

Hay Ken,

Just checked the settings again and they are all OK, from a web search looks like a bug in this version of the board might be causing the issue.

Being a novice at this i'm scared to update until I have plent of time & a full back up, so maybe next weekend or the weekend after i'll have a go at updating the board which should fix the notification issue, might also try and include some checking mechanism so people can register themselves without me.

So if you can bear with me Ken as i'm out of my depth with most of this stuff but I'll try to sort it out in a week or two.

Hey Darren,
No roblem mate. take your time. As a by the way......I also find I have to sign in everytime I get on the forum inspite of ticking the "for Keeps" thingy. Just thought the two might be somehow connected. Whenever you can look at it is good, I just keep missing the little swipes (no, the comments not some members Roll Eyes Wink) and cant keep up with current events

Check out the Evans Head Corvette, it's the one in the middle for those who may not recognise it.
Not sure what the yellow flag is about.
If white is for surrender, yellow must be for ...............

...

Here are a couple of other nice shots from the Evans Head run.
